Dedicated to resolving pain and injury, and promoting stronger functional movement through hands-on physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.
The Peak Performance Physio Clinics are run by Chartered Physiotherapist Rob Hobkinson, based at the luxury Joe Ralphs Gym in Wakefield, Yorkshire.
Having had back and wrist issues in my career before working with Rob, he has helped me eliminate all pain through good movement and a better understanding of what the problem actually is.
He is one of the best.
My son Matt was out of the game for 2 months with muscular skeletal issues, despite having regular treatment elsewhere. A couple of sessions with Rob and he was soon playing again pain-free.
Furthermore, the introduction of a golf specific fitness programme has not only prevented any recurrence of his issues, but has improved his general health and his golf swing.
Our approach combines the powerful science of physiotherapy and functional movement, with high levels of patient centred care. For us open communication between client and therapist is key to a successful therapeutic outcome. We work closely with each client to consult, assess, treat and progress them as quickly as possible to their goal; which is quite often the simple dream of pain free movement.
Tackling the root cause of your issue through manual physio treatment with complementary exercise rehabilitation and sometimes even strength and conditioning work can generate incredible results.
